FACT wins two ACSA Education Awards
FACT is thrilled to announce that we have been honored with two awards from the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA) in the 2023 Architectural Education Awards. Each year, ACSA honors architectural educators for exemplary work in areas such as building design, community collaborations, scholarship, and service. Award winners inspire and challenge students, contribute to the profession’s knowledge base, and extend their work beyond the borders of academy into practice and the public sector.
The Omaha Mobile Stage won a 2023 Design-Build Award. With this award, ACSA honors the best practices in school-based design-build projects. Congratulations to the other winners! Jeff Day will present the work at the ACSA Annual Meeting in St. Louis in March, 2023.
The NEw Attainable House won an honorable mention in the 2023 AIA/ACSA Housing Design Education Awards. Only one other project won an award in this program. The award recognizes the importance of good education in housing design to produce architects ready for practice in a wide range of areas and able to be capable leaders and contributors to their communities.
See the project pages for more information on the work.
