The Grocery wins 2019 AIA Central States Design Award

The Grocery won a 2019 AIA Central States Merit Award in the Unbuilt Category. The award was announced in St. Louis on October 11, 2019. tHe Grocery is a project of FACT & Actual Architecture Co. for the Sandhills Institute to convert a mid-century era grocery store to support temporary exhibitions, public meetings, lectures, casual gathering and other events where the citizens of Rushville and surrounding rural Nebraska communities can experience the programmatic vision of the Sandhills Institute.
